Srinagar: Govt. Unani Hospital Shalteng marked World Unani Day with a grand celebration honoring the birth anniversary of Hakeem Ajmal Khan. The event was graced by Director Ayush, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir Shah, as the chief guest, alongside guest of honor Dr. Shuja Hussan.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Parray led the event, emphasizing the significance of Unani medicine in modern healthcare.
A seminar was organized, where Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Parray highlighted the role of Ayush interventions in managing non-communicable diseases, while Dr. Shuja Allaqband delivered an insightful speech on the event’s theme. Experts underscored the importance of Unani medicine in holistic healing and disease prevention.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of doctors, paramedical staff, and support personnel.
Students from Govt. Unani College Ganderbal actively participated, making the event a significant gathering for the Unani medical fraternity.
