A recent meeting at the White House saw a heated exchange between former President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump warned Zelenskyy that he was “gambling with World War Three” and criticized him for not being more appreciative of U.S. support and for pushing for security guarantees from the United States.
Trump emphasized the importance of compromises in any potential truce with Russia, while Zelenskyy insisted there should be no compromises with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meeting ended abruptly, with Trump criticizing Zelenskyy further on social media. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for U.S. support and reiterated Ukraine’s need for a just and lasting peace.
