New Delhi: In a major move, the Indian Armed Forces today launched “Operation Sindoor”, targeting terror infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. These sites were being used to plan and direct terrorist attacks against India.

According to an official statement, under “Operation Sindoor,” nine (9) locations were targeted.

Indian authorities stated that the actions were carried out with great caution, precision, and a policy of non-escalation. No Pakistani military installations were targeted during the strikes. India demonstrated considerable restraint in both the selection of targets and the method of execution.

This action follows the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack, in which 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali citizen were killed. After the attack, the Indian government had pledged to bring those responsible to justice.

Officials stated that a detailed briefing on “Operation Sindoor” will be provided later today.
