Baramulla: The elections for the Referee Committee for the season 2025–26 were successfully conducted today at Degree College Baramulla. The meeting witnessed the active participation of 14 members and was conducted in a disciplined and democratic manner under the supervision of the appointed Election Commissioner, Mr. Ghulam Nabi.
The proceedings began with the formal dissolution of the previous year’s committee, following which the floor was opened for the formation of a new committee through a structured electoral process.
After the successful completion of the elections, the following members were elected to key positions:
Chairman: Mr. Zeeshan Ali
General Secretary: Mr. Bilal Maqbool
Treasurer: Mr. Amir Shagoo
The newly elected committee members expressed their commitment to furthering the professionalism, development, and integrity of refereeing in the district. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with all members pledging their support and cooperation for the smooth functioning of the committee in the upcoming season.
