Budgam, July 21, 2025 – A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Youth Empowerment Organisation (YEO) Training Center in Charishreef, Chadoora, Budgam, to felicitate 30 successful candidates trained in the “Electrician Domestic Solution” job role under the Power Sector Skill Council.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Irfan Parray, State Head, IEEMA, who attended as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the trainees on their achievement and emphasized the importance of skilling youth in emerging sectors such as power and energy. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Sawbit Hamid, Project Manager from the YEO Head Office, and Mr. Farooq Ahmad, Center Manager of YEO Charishreef, both of whom commended the candidates for their dedication and commitment throughout the training program.
This training initiative was conducted by a highly reputed training organization in Jammu & Kashmir under the CSR initiative of IEEMA, facilitated through the Power Sector Skill Council. The program aimed to empower unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills, thereby enhancing their employability in the power sector.
In total, 60 candidates were trained under this initiative across two locations – Sumbal (Bandipora) and Charishreef (Budgam) – with 30 candidates trained at each center.
