Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) at Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre, extending a warm invitation to travellers across India to explore the beauty, culture, and hospitality of J&K.
Highlighting the region’s year-round tourism potential, the CM stressed the growing ties between Gujarat and J&K in tourism and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to establishing J&K as a vibrant, all-season destination. He was accompanied by senior J&K leaders and officials, including Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani and MLAs from Pahalgam and Gulmarg.
CM Abdullah also met Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to discuss tourism cooperation and best practices in development.
The TTF Ahmedabad, Gujarat’s largest travel trade show, features over 900 exhibitors, including 70+ tourism stakeholders from J&K and international participants like Sri Lanka. The J&K pavilion drew significant attention for its diverse tourism offerings—ranging from adventure and heritage to film and golf tourism.
Top officials from J&K and Gujarat attended the event, which is expected to host over 12,500 travel professionals during its three-day run. TTF Ahmedabad serves as a vital B2B platform for expanding J&K’s tourism footprint nationwide.
