On the sacred 4th Monday of Shrawan Maas, a grand Rudra Abhishek Pooja was held at the Gandhi Nagar residence of BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Gupta in Jammu. The event was graced by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, and J&K BJP President Shri Sat Sharma.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa (MLA Bahu), Gaurav Gupta’s family, BJP workers, local citizens, and several prominent personalities attended, including Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari (Principal Secretary to LG), Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, JMC Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, Jammu University VC Umesh Rai, Executive Director Dr. Shakti Kumar Gupta, Justice Rajinder Dogra, and Northern Railway DCM Uchit Singhal.
The Vedic rituals and chants created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. LG Manoj Sinha called Jammu & Kashmir a land blessed by Lord Shiva, adding, “Rudra Abhishek invokes peace, prosperity, and well-being.”
Sat Sharma described the pooja as a day of collective faith and unity, praying for the UT’s progress. Vikram Randhawa emphasized its cultural significance, while Gaurav Gupta thanked attendees, stating the aim was to promote harmony and spiritual awareness during Shrawan Maas.
