New Delhi, Aug 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat on Akashvani has generated over ₹34 crore in revenue since its inception, the government told Rajya Sabha today.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan said the programme highlights inspiring stories of Indians making a difference in fields such as education, health, environment, innovation, and social service.
Broadcast live across Akashvani’s national and regional networks, Mann Ki Baat is also telecast on Doordarshan channels and streamed on digital platforms including YouTube, Prasar Bharati’s OTT app WAVES, and the NewsOnAIR mobile app. The programme enjoys significant global reach through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Dr. Murugan noted that Mann Ki Baat continues to serve as a national platform for showcasing grassroots achievers and encouraging citizen participation in nation-building.
