A new digital initiative aimed at boosting tourism and supporting local trade in Jammu & Kashmir was launched today at a special event in Srinagar. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Tanvir Sadiq, MLA Zadibal, as Chief Guest, and Tariq Ghani Bedaba, President, Chamber of Commerce, as Guest of Honour.
The newly launched website serves as a comprehensive digital platform showcasing Jammu & Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and business potential. It aims to provide an interactive space where tourists, traders, and stakeholders can access verified information, connect with service providers, and explore opportunities across tourism and allied sectors.
Commending the initiative, Tanvir Sadiq praised Mr. Shoqeen, the project’s creator, for his vision and dedication. “This initiative demonstrates how youth-led innovation and digital empowerment can transform Jammu & Kashmir’s image and drive economic growth,” he said, adding that such ventures build stronger bridges between local entrepreneurs and global markets.
Mr. Tariq Ghani Bedaba applauded Mr. Shoqeen’s contribution and announced his inclusion as a member of the trade organization, recognizing his commitment to regional business and tourism development. “His vision and hard work will significantly enhance tourist experiences and uplift the local industry,” he remarked.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all dignitaries, guests, and participants. The launch was widely hailed as a milestone in Jammu & Kashmir’s digital transformation, symbolizing innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to progress.
