The office of the Principal Accountant General (PAG), Jammu & Kashmir today celebrated Audit Diwas with a series of vibrant and socially impactful activities. The celebration was marked by the inauguration of Yoga sessions, a Blood Donation Camp, and a Rangoli exhibition, bringing together officers and staff in a spirit of wellness, service, and cultural expression.
Audit Diwas, observed annually on 16 November, holds significant importance as it commemorates the vital role of the auditing community in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance across public institutions. Following the formal observance on 16 November, the PAG J&K commenced its Audit Week celebrations, scheduled to run from 17 November 2025 to 28 November 2025.
The week-long program will feature a variety of activities aimed at fostering professional development, team building, and public awareness about the role of audit in nation-building.
The Principal Accountant General extended appreciation to all participants and encouraged continued commitment to the core values of integrity, transparency, and service in the auditing profession.
