An Indian Air Force (IAF) remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) crashed in a field in the Ramgarh canal area of Jaisalmer on Thursday after developing an engine fault near the Indo-Pakistan border.
There was no loss of life or property. The Air Force, police, BSF and other security agencies immediately reached the spot and started an investigation.
The Air Force confirmed a technical fault in the drone and ordered a formal investigation into the matter.
