Srinagar observed Audit Diwas 2025 with an awareness programme organised by the Office of the Principal Accountant General Audit J and K at the Government College of Education IASE M A Road. The session titled “Leveraging e Office OIOS Toolkits and Data Analytics for Efficiency” focused on improving coordination among DDOs Treasury officials and Pension authorities.
The programme highlighted the importance of digital submission and processing of pension papers especially for employees nearing retirement to ensure transparency and smooth workflow.
Principal of the College Prof Dr Seema Naaz presided as Chief Guest while Deputy Accountant General Pawan Kumar Rathi was the Special Guest. Prof Naaz underlined the significance of such initiatives in strengthening employee readiness for evolving digital governance systems. In his address Pawan Kumar Rathi appreciated the effort noting its contribution to financial literacy streamlined procedures and digitally empowered treasury and pension operations.
The event was attended by a large number of DDOs and prospective retirees. Technical experts delivered detailed sessions on pension procedures digitization e office transition paperless systems and updated reconciliation practices.
The programme concluded with an interactive segment offering clarity on key financial and pension related processes and reinforcing a more efficient digitally aligned administrative framework.
