An Audit Run was organised this morning at Nehru Park as part of the ongoing Audit Week celebrations. The event was jointly flagged off by Ankush Kumar, Deputy Accountant General J and K, and Indian footballer Danish Farooq. Participants followed the picturesque track from Nehru Park to SKICC.
Officials said the run aimed to promote public engagement with Audit Week, deepen awareness about transparency and accountability, and encourage a culture of fitness. The presence of Danish Farooq inspired strong participation, particularly from the youth.
After the run, participants actively engaged in a Dal Lake cleaning initiative, demonstrating commitment to environmental awareness and sanitation.
The event concluded at SKICC with appreciation for all attendees.
