T20 World Cup 2026: India and Pakistan to Face Off on 15th

Mumbai: The ICC has released the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2026, confirming that arch-rivals India and Pakistan will meet in a high-profile clash on February 15 in Colombo. Both teams have been placed in the same group along with USA, Namibia and the Netherlands.

This edition of the tournament will feature 20 teams and will begin on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka. The final is scheduled for March 8 in Ahmedabad, although it will be shifted to Sri Lanka if Pakistan qualifies for the summit clash.

India’s group fixtures include a match against the USA on February 7 in Mumbai, followed by Namibia on February 12 in Delhi, Pakistan on February 15 in Colombo and the Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad.

Indian cricket legend Rohit Sharma, who led India to the 2007 T20 World Cup title as a batter, has been named the brand ambassador for the tournament.
