Blood Donation Camp in Memory of Delhi and Nowgam Martyrs Held in Srinagar

The Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association, organised the thirteenth Blood Donation Camp on December 1, 2025.

The camp was held at Government Higher Secondary School Kothibagh, where employees and teachers from multiple departments participated as donors.

Organisers said this year’s camp held profound significance, being dedicated to honouring the supreme sacrifices of the Delhi blast martyrs and the Nowgam Police Station martyrs. The initiative seeks to reinforce a sense of social duty among government employees while contributing to critical lifesaving efforts.

Shah Fayaz, who spearheaded the event, described blood donation as an essential act of humanity with the power to sustain and save countless lives. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation witnessed this year, noting that such engagement strengthens the enduring spirit of collective service and compassion.
