Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today released Hindora, the latest Hindi poetry collection by renowned writer and poet Dr. Satish Vimal, at Lok Bhavan.
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated Dr. Vimal and paid rich tributes to his wide ranging and valuable contributions to the literary world. He remarked that Dr. Vimal’s creative works reflect a rare synthesis of intellectual depth, cultural consciousness, and aesthetic refinement, taking the reader beyond the surface of words into deeper realms of thought and reflection.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed satisfaction that literary works such as Hindora lend a universal artistic voice to the rich intellectual, cultural, and spiritual diversity of Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that the collection resonates with philosophical insight and artistic sensitivity, capturing the civilizational ethos of the region with grace and dignity.
Hindora marks the 33rd book in Dr. Satish Vimal’s literary career and his 13th poetry collection. The work eloquently presents the philosophical vision, artistic sensibility, and cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir, standing as a significant contribution to contemporary Hindi literature.
