J&K Bank Holds Stakeholders’ Meet on High Density Plantation Scheme

Srinagar, Dec 17: J&K Bank on Tuesday organised a stakeholders’ meet at its corporate headquarters to streamline the implementation of its flagship High Density Plantation Scheme. The interactive session with Private Enterprises aimed at improving coordination and ensuring effective execution of the scheme at the ground level.

The meeting was chaired by General Manager Rakesh Magotra and attended by Deputy General Manager Aneet Kanwal Singh, representatives of Private Enterprises and senior bank officials, while Cluster Heads joined through video conferencing.

The Bank decided to appoint nodal officers for the scheme and to hold joint awareness camps with Private Enterprises to familiarise farmers with the benefits of high density plantations. Addressing the meet, Magotra said the scheme holds immense potential for boosting the economy and could help Kashmir emerge as a major apple producing region if implemented effectively.

Private Enterprises appreciated the Bank’s initiative and assured full cooperation for the successful implementation of the scheme.
