New Delhi: Youth Empowerment Organisation (YEO), a Jammu & Kashmir–based group focusing on education, skill development, and social empowerment, has been selected to implement a Beti Bachao Beti Padhao awareness programme in Government schools across Delhi.
Targeting students from Classes I to V, the initiative promotes girl child welfare, gender equality, financial literacy, and Government of India schemes, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. Age-appropriate workshops, interactive digital content, and learning tools aim to foster inclusive, safe learning environments and instil values of equality and social responsibility.
CEO Sajid Hussain Mir said the programme reflects the Government’s commitment to empowering girls through early education and awareness, and reaffirmed YEO’s dedication to high-impact, sustainable interventions in partnership with schools and government bodies.
