Baramulla’s Arpun Deep Kour Conferred Raksha Mantri Padak

Senior Under Officer (SUO) Arpun Deep Kour of 3 J&K Battalion NCC, Baramulla, has been awarded the prestigious Raksha Mantri Padak during the ongoing Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 in New Delhi.

The award was presented by the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, in recognition of her exemplary duty, service, and discipline.

During Operation Sindoor, SUO Arpun Deep Kour played a key role in coordinating and executing relief operations in Baramulla district for displaced residents of border villages in North Kashmir.

She ensured timely assistance to the affected population with compassion and dignity.

Her selfless leadership during the operation reflected the highest values of discipline, teamwork, humanitarian service, and the spirit of “Nation First,” even at personal inconvenience. Her conduct, patience, sincerity, and dedication to noble causes have inspired fellow NCC cadets.

Through her outstanding contribution, SUO Arpun Deep Kour has significantly enhanced the prestige of the National Cadet Corps as well as the entire Kashmir Valley.
