Srinagar, February 20: The 132 Battalion CRPF, Srinagar has secured the First Prize at the All India level under Region C in the Regional Official Language Award 2024 to 25.
The award, conferred by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, recognises the battalion’s outstanding performance in the progressive use of Hindi in official work.
The prestigious Official Language Trophy and Certificate were presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Commandant Shri W. R. Josuah at a grand समारोह held at the International Indoor Stadium in Agartala, Tripura.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Vandi Sanjay Kumar, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, along with senior dignitaries from Central and State governments, were present on the occasion.
The award reflects the battalion’s sustained commitment to implementing the Official Language Policy and promoting the effective use of Hindi in official functioning.
