Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the highest civilian honour of Sweden, the Royal Order of the Polar Star, during his visit to the country.
The honour was conferred by the Swedish government in recognition of his international cooperation and diplomatic services.
Prime Minister Modi discussed various issues with his Swedish counterpart, including bilateral relations, trade, innovation, space exploration and environmental cooperation. The two countries stressed the need to further promote trade and enhance cooperation in various sectors.
