The humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories has deepened sharply, with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) alleging that 109 Palestinians were killed and 396 others injured between June 30 and July 20, 2026, according to the 137th report of its Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians.
The report claims that 102 of the fatalities occurred in the Gaza Strip, where the Observatory said 16 bodies were recovered while 96 deaths were confirmed during the reporting period. It also documented 348 injuries in Gaza, describing the enclave as the epicentre of the continuing violence.
In the occupied West Bank, the Observatory alleged that Israeli forces carried out 882 military incursions during the same period. According to the report, these operations resulted in the deaths of seven Palestinians, injuries to 48 others, and the arrest of 375 people.
The report further alleges that four Palestinian children were killed, four children were injured, and seven children were arrested by Israeli forces. It also states that five children were injured in attacks and alleged vehicular assaults carried out by Israeli settlers.
According to the Observatory, Israeli settlers conducted 277 attacks and undertook 30 settlement-related activities across the occupied Palestinian territories during the reporting period, further escalating tensions on the ground.
Overall, the OIC Observatory alleged that 2,980 separate incidents classified by it as Israeli violations were documented across different Palestinian areas between the beginning of July and July 20.

The report presents the OIC’s account of events and allegations regarding the situation in the Palestinian territories. Israel has previously disputed or rejected many allegations made by international organizations regarding its military operations and security policies.
