Srinagar, August 5: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) Jammu & Kashmir State President Vivek Bali on Tuesday said the abrogation of Article 370 has ushered in a new era of peace, inclusive development, and equal rights in the Union Territory.
Marking the seventh anniversary of the constitutional change, Bali said Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed significant progress in infrastructure, governance, healthcare, education, tourism, investment, and public welfare over the past seven years. He added that the move has enabled effective implementation of Central welfare schemes, strengthened democratic institutions, improved transparency, and created greater opportunities for youth.
Bali said the constitutional changes have ensured equal rights and opportunities for the people of Jammu & Kashmir while promoting social justice, women’s empowerment, employment generation, and digital connectivity. He urged the youth to focus on education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and innovation to contribute to the region’s long-term growth and prosperity.
Reaffirming SBSP’s commitment to peace, social harmony, and inclusive development, Bali said the party would continue supporting policies aimed at improving the quality of life and ensuring sustainable growth across Jammu & Kashmir.
