Srinagar, August 29, 2026: The Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League Season 2 officially unveiled its six franchise jerseys and coveted trophy at the TRC Ground, Srinagar, a day ahead of National Sports Day.
The ceremony came just 24 hours after nearly 200 footballers went under the hammer in the Season 2 auction, completing all six squads. Defending champions United Elegant FC will return to defend the title they secured last season after a thrilling penalty shootout.
The jerseys and trophy were unveiled jointly by Sports Minister Satish Sharma, Commissioner Secretary Youth Services & Sports Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, J&K Sports Council Secretary Nuzhat Gul, and Khyber Cement Chief of Sales & Customer Relations Wasim Ahmed Khan.
Khyber Cement representatives highlighted the league’s role in connecting communities while creating meaningful opportunities for young footballers.
Season 1 also produced promising talent, with Emerging Player award winners Aazim Parvez and Abrar Ali earning calls to the India Under-17 national team camp.
With six competitive squads, a stronger player pool and growing corporate support, Season 2 aims to further strengthen football’s culture and development across Jammu & Kashmir.
The stage is set, the teams are ready, and the trophy awaits its next champion.
