Srinagar: Fatima Bint Farooq emerged as the winner of Mind Maze Season II, a national-level logic and reasoning championship organised by Endeavours in collaboration with Iqbal Library, Pampore.
The second season began with more than 100 participants, who competed through a rigorous, three-tier UPSC-level examination format. After successive stages of evaluation, five finalists qualified for the grand finale.
The final round assessed participants on logical reasoning, analytical thinking, decision-making, general awareness and communication skills, culminating in a challenging personal interview.
After the final evaluation, Fatima Bint Farooq secured the top position and was awarded a cash prize, memento and award.
The finale was assessed by a distinguished jury comprising Firdous Ali Wani, Dr. Tanvir Hayat, Khurshid Qureshi, Adv. Nadeem Qadri and Aadil Bhat.
The three-tier format was designed to offer students an assessment experience inspired by competitive examinations, with emphasis on reasoning, critical thinking, decision-making and effective communication.
The successful conclusion of Mind Maze Season II adds another chapter to Endeavours’ efforts to promote quality education, intellectual development and skill-based learning through innovative academic platforms.
Speaking on the occasion, Aadil Bhat highlighted that Mind Maze was conceived to move beyond conventional examination patterns and provide students with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate critical thinking, logical reasoning and decision-making skills.
