Srinagar, Jul 29 (Only Kashmir): The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) Srinagar on Monday conducted an art competition on the theme of Swachh Bharat Mission in which more than forty students from IASE participated.
The event was inaugurated by IASE Principal Dr. Seema Naz while as it was coordinated by Arshid Sauleh.
The colorful paintings drew by the students depicted the importance of ‘Clean India.’
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Seema Naz said besides teachers and students’ people from different sections of the society should come forward and join this mass movement of cleanliness.
She said painting competition, plays and music is the best way to spreading awareness about hygiene, adding, Cleanliness is an important part of our religion.
Pertinently, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India, launched at Rajpath New Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi On 2nd October 2014.
