J&K Bank accorded a warm farewell to its senior officials Anand Pal Singh and Shabir Ahmad, who retired as General Managers after over three-and-a-half decades of distinguished service.
The ceremony, held at the Corporate Headquarters, was chaired by Amitava Chatterjee, MD & CEO, and attended by Sudhir Gupta, Executive Director, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, Chief General Manager, along with other senior officers.
MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee lauded their steadfast commitment, noting that while the institution celebrates their immense contribution to the Bank’s growth and culture, it also bids farewell to invaluable experience and institutional memory. He highlighted the Bank’s structured career progression and succession planning, urging emerging leaders to prepare for greater responsibilities in a rapidly evolving banking landscape.
Executive Director Sudhir Gupta and CGM Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat also extended their best wishes, appreciating the duo’s team spirit and dedication.
Anand Pal Singh and Shabir Ahmad expressed gratitude to the leadership and colleagues for their unwavering support, describing their long association with J&K Bank as deeply rewarding.
The event concluded with the presentation of mementos and warm wishes for a fulfilling post-retirement life.
