The grinding war between the USA, Israel, and Iran, on the other hand, has come to a pause due to a historic ceasefire. The war had also badly impacted the middle East countries . Iran had struck many Arab countries for what they called hosting enemy bases.
What started on February 28 as a massive attack on Tehran, leading to assassinations of top leadership, soon turned into a regional war.
After 40 days, the world had had some sort of sigh of relief as the energy crisis too was looming large with the Strait of Hormuz closed.
Throughout the day, Israel carried out airstrikes on Lebanon, and a refinery too in Iran was also attacked. Some drones also hit Middle East nations. The ceasefire came at a time when the US President had warned it would annihilate Iranian civilization. The hope and prayer is that the coming talks make it a permanent ceasefire.
There have been some positive vibes too- “The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive Regime Change! There will be no enrichment of Uranium, and the United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers) Nuclear “Dust.” It is now, and has been, under very exacting Satellite Surveillance (Space Force!). Nothing has been touched since the date of the attack. We are, and will be, talking Tariff and Sanctions relief with Iran. Many of the 15 points have already been been agreed to. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP” – President Trump via Truth Social stated.
Israel says the new US-Iran ceasefire will not include Lebanon. While the two-week pause holds between Washington and Tehran, Israeli strikes and ground operations against Hezbollah continue full force. Over 1,500 people were killed in Lebanon (including civilians, women, and children). More than 4,800 were injured.
Pressure on Iran would not be to abandon Lebanon. The ceasefire is quite historic and hopeful, but at the same time, it’s laced with nervousness.
