Srinagar, May 13: To strengthen retail lending partnerships and expand vehicle finance business in the region, J&K Bank organised an interaction programme with authorised car dealers of Kashmir at its Corporate Headquarters.
The programme saw participation from major automobile dealers representing brands including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia, MG Motor and Toyota. Discussions focused on the Bank’s customer friendly car loan products, dealership partnerships and collaborative growth opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, General Manager (Retail, Agriculture & MSME) Rakesh Magotra said, “The automobile sector is an important driver of economic activity and consumer aspirations. Through stronger engagement with dealership partners, we aim to create a mutually beneficial framework that enhances business opportunities and ensures seamless and affordable financing solutions for customers.”
He added that the Bank remains committed to upgrading its products and processes in line with market requirements so that its vehicle finance offerings remain competitive, flexible and customer centric.
Participants were informed about the Bank’s car loan scheme featuring interest rates starting from 7.70%, repayment tenure up to 84 months, flexible eligibility norms, family income pooling facility and financing for insurance, registration charges and accessories. Special benefits for government employees, pensioners and high net worth individuals were also highlighted.
The Bank also outlined its dealership collaboration framework aimed at streamlining loan sourcing, operational coordination and hassle free credit delivery. Participating dealers appreciated the initiative and called for regular interactions to strengthen long term collaboration and improve customer convenience in availing finance facilities.
