Support Wings organised a Barefoot March in Ganderbal on June 14 as part of its ongoing efforts to encourage community participation and social responsibility.
The march brought together volunteers and community members who walked barefoot through the area, symbolising unity, commitment, and collective action. Participants engaged with local residents and promoted the values of togetherness, compassion, and active citizenship.
The event highlighted the importance of community engagement and demonstrated how simple acts of participation can help strengthen social bonds and inspire positive change. It also provided an opportunity for individuals from different backgrounds to come together and contribute towards a common cause.
Tanishq Agrawal, the Founder of Support Wings remarked, “Walking barefoot today was never about the road beneath our feet; it was about reminding ourselves that meaningful change begins when we step out of our comfort zones for the people around us. Communities grow stronger when compassion is turned into action.” reflecting the spirit behind the initiative.
Support Wings is a youth-led organisation active across more than 80+ cities in India, engaging over 10,000 individuals through leadership programs, internships, and social impact initiatives. The Barefoot March in Ganderbal served as a reminder that collective effort and community involvement play an important role in building stronger and more connected societies.
