Srinagar, Jul 29: J&K Bank on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 424.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The results were approved by the Board of Directors at its corporate headquarters.
The Bank’s total business crossed the historic Rs 3 lakh crore mark, rising over 20% year-on-year to Rs 3,03,923 crore, driven by a 25% increase in advances to Rs 1,30,503 crore and a 17% rise in deposits to Rs 1,73,420 crore.
Net Interest Income (NII) increased 2% to Rs 1,497 crore, while operating profit rose 4.5% to Rs 703 crore. The cost-to-income ratio improved to 58.90%.
Asset quality strengthened further, with Gross NPA declining to 2.37% from 2.50% in the previous quarter and Net NPA improving to 0.60%. The Bank also maintained a healthy Provision Coverage Ratio of 90.53%, while its Capital Adequacy Ratio improved to 16.67%.
MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee said the Bank’s strong business growth, improving asset quality and robust capital position would support sustainable long-term growth despite industry-wide pressure on margins.
