The attachment action was executed by Police Station Safakadal during the investigation of NDPS cases, with the properties identified as assets derived from criminal drug trafficking operations. The attached properties include a three-storey residential house in Estate Nawakadal valued at ₹1,19,90,765, belonging to Adnan Lateef Sheikh involved in FIR No. 74/2026; a single-storey residential house in Estate Palpora valued at ₹1,18,28,965, belonging to Danyal Ahmad Bisati involved in FIR No. 24/2025; a double-storey residential house in Estate Barthana valued at ₹71,31,905, belonging to Shahid Gul involved in FIR No. 48/2026; and a single-storey residential house in Estate Goripora valued at ₹25,00,322, belonging to Adil Ahmad Mir involved in FIR No. 62/2025.
All accused persons have been served with formal attachment orders and prohibited from selling, leasing, mortgaging, transferring, or creating any third-party interest in the properties without prior competent authority approval. This enforcement action represents a crucial component of Srinagar Police’s sustained campaign against drug trafficking, reflecting its strategic commitment to dismantling the financial infrastructure supporting narcotics networks by targeting illegally acquired assets. The action also marks progress in the broader Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan, a 100-day comprehensive campaign targeting drug trafficking networks across the union territory.
Police have appealed to citizens to cooperate actively by sharing information related to drug trafficking activities with the nearest police station or through the Police Helpline Dial 112, assuring that all informants will be protected and their identities kept strictly confidential. The initiative demonstrates law enforcement’s determination to create a drug-free society and protect community health and safety.
